About

Making his way onto the DJ scene during his early years, DJ Narity started out in a high school sound called Toxic before joining Bloodline Sound. He rose to national prominence on the Jamaican DJ circuit after entering the Heineken Green Synergy competition in 2010. Primed as a fan (and judges) favourite early on, Narity was eventually eliminated from the competition but not defeated. He went on to secure positions as the touring DJ for artistes like Beenie Man, Nadine Sutherland and Denyque.

As a passionate music lover, he absorbed styles and techniques from across the world - priding himself on his versatility and ability to adapt.

In 2013, he entered the Red Bull 3Style competition in Jamaica and secured the third-place title.

Eventually, he left Bloodline Sound and joined Third Dimension, where he played major local shows like Major Lazer and Friends, Observer Food Awards and several events for the Jamaica Tourist Board.

His international success grew, playing shows from Florida to Gabon. He has been a regular fixture at Atlanta’s Rum Punch Brunch. He also brought the vibe at the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, where he was the resident at Jamaica House - the Jamaica Tourist Board’s prime meeting spot for celebrating Jamaica’s athletic prowess.

Locally, he has made himself a fixture in radio with his time at Hot 102 and Nationwide FM’s Miss Kitty Live. Now fans can hear him weekly on the blazing Fame 95FM - one of Jamaica’s hottest stations.

With the tag line, “Play the Music with Clarity, Shout Out Narity, ” having been coined by dancehall hitmaker Munga Honourable, Narity is delivering on the promise to wow listeners from the radio airways to the party scenes - and even at weddings and corporate events. He covers a wide range of genres with a view of putting his listeners first, always.
